Academic and Student Affairs' innovative leaders bridging academic excellence and economic development.
The Academic and Student Affairs Division acts as a catalyst to support student success. We initiate and enhance learning for our diverse communities through leadership, service, innovation, and collaboration. Direction and work in our Division is accomplished by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and eleven departments through an intricate and complex network of services, leadership, technical assistance, and partnerships.
In response to MCCCD's Governing Board's strategic directions, the Division of Academic and Student Affairs will:
Maximize stakeholder access to the Maricopa Colleges' facilities, programs, and services.
Promote and support opportunities for students by enhancing learning environments and delivery options, student retention, and student success.
Enhance internal collaboration and increase external partnerships.
Identify and pursue new and existing revenue sources while promoting cost effectiveness.
Recruit, develop, and retain a quality workforce.
Maintain a strong identity that reflects its role in and value to the community.
